I definitely wouldn’t call Rome as a classic capital, there are things far away from classic and common..it’s as particular as it could be, have no idea if there is something to do with South Italy’s touch, but it seems more easy and relaxed in some things that it is around the world in other cities, they wont run after fashion and poshy look, they seem more worried about their coffee and pasta plate…here are different qualities of life, even if Romans are world wide famous for being crazy drivers, the entire city is a chaos, but that’s what gives it that special sparkle.

In summer evenings very common thing to do is , passeggiata, this is a very typical Italian activity consisting of a relaxed stroll around the streets of the historical centre , pausing for a drink , gelato or even dinner…it might be because of its beauty or being the most romantic city in the world, but you can truly get used to this splendid entertainment. Rome is everything about eating and drinking, and everyone knows that Romans are very fussy about their coffee, same as they are about their pasta. And here would come the best quastion, where to get the best coffee, in the country where coffee is a part of culture…most of Romans would agree that the best coffee can be found near Pantheon, Caffe Sant’ Eustachio, it’s a tiny coffee bar located next to the lovely eponymous church of Sant’Eustachio.

Caffe Sant Eustachio was founded by the Ricci family back in 1938, they are selling more than 4.000 little cups of espresso a day. You will be surprised seeing the huge lines out of the small coffee shop, Romans sipping coffee from the porcelain cups…you will know that it’s the right place for your roman coffee break. This espresso has some great secret, no wonder there is no one like Caffe Sant’ Eustachio, an amber-colored froth, for Italian , schiuma, cloaks a viscous dark liquid that has a scent reminiscent of caramel, you will feel some particular taste. They call it a Roman institution, there is no other secret about this place, just great espresso, very much appreciated by Italians, and as they are gods of coffee, let’s trust them in this one.
